Pen on Paper

I've been doing some informal experiments with a sleep scientist at the Universite de Montreal called Antonio Zadra. He asked me to re-create a test originally devised by the German psychologist Paul Tholey.
Tholey was interested in examining the cognitive ability of dream characters i.e. the people in your dreams that aren't you.
One of his experiments involved getting lucid dreamers to approach random dream characters and asking them to create drawings.
The idea was to watch the dream character head on. If the drawing was orientated towards the dream character this would suggest they could function at a high level seemingly independent from the dreamer.
I carried out this experiment and guess what? Yep, upside down.
